About Bright Start Day Care

Our story
Bright Start Day Care was founded in 2004 by Harriet D’Cruz and has been caring for children and supporting families for over 20 years. Today, Bright Start remains proudly family-run.
Harriet brings more than four decades of experience in childcare and Early Years education. She began her career as a Nursery Nurse before going on to train adults and young people in Early Years qualifications.
Many members of our team have been personally trained and supported by Harriet, helping us maintain the warm, caring and personal approach that has always been at the heart of Bright Start.
More than 20 years on, we remain committed to giving every child a happy, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow and thrive.

Our experienced team creates opportunities for children to learn through play, exploration and hands-on experiences, both indoors and outdoors. From stories, music and creative activities to physical play and exploring the world around them, children are encouraged to be curious, make choices and try new things.
